Efo-riro (vegetable stew)

The service and delivery were great but my everything I ordered didn’t taste good my obe ata tasted like just like boiled tinned tomato ,,despite my request to make all my orders extra spicy , peppered fish looked like it had been stored in the obe ata sauce, there was no onions to garnish it , ayamase tasted okay but you could hardly see the meat in it I.e the pieces were so tiny , and my efo riro was only half full, seeing other reviews now , probably the water spilled from the bowl.
However customer service is great and food packaging was superb.
The kitchen team just need to understand varying customer preferences.

It felt like I was eating a massive bowl of locust beans with a little vegetable. The liquid in it was too much . There’s sth inorganic about the taste. Sadly everything I placed on this order didn’t taste good at all. The porridge, the efo riro,- I’d rate 2 out of 10 and tbe Ayamase and egusi are actually abysmal. I was deceived by the reviews . It’s either the people who approved of these meals don’t know how to cook nigerian food or they have sth wrong with their palate.
Asides from the good customer service and the affordable food, there is nothing to the food and I need an apology .

I have enjoyed everything I ordered, Ayamase, efo riro, beef stew, jollof rice, Ogbono, beans, puff-puff, meatpie.... Very tasty and well prepared meals, nice packaging and delivery, I'd definitely recommend.
I particularly love the fact that you can edit your order by Whatsapp (specifying your requirements and desire e.g reduced spice, reduced locust bean ..)
This is a very satisfied customer.
